About the Author
Roger Messer is a civil trial lawyer and a native Floridian, who resides in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 1972. Thereafter, he worked for two years in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force in the Pentagon as a legislative research assistant. He returned to Florida and attended and graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1977.
He currently practices with his partner and son, Steven in St. Lucie County, Florida.
Roger is a veteran of more than 100 civil jury trials who also has appellate experience. In 1999, the National Trial Lawyers named Roger as one of the top 100 civil plaintiff trial lawyers in the country.
Roger has been married to his wife, Betsey, for 52-years.
Fishing is one of Roger's passions. Roger and Betsey are both active in the Lions Club and also enjoy playing Scrabble with friends.
